Spa Broker

Spa Broker was founded in 1979 by Ann and Steve Bokulich. Steve was building his own spas back then, both built-ins and portables, and staying very busy with the demand for hot tubs in the Chico area. Two years later, he decided to bring in a spa to his showroom that was manufactured by a relatively new company called Watkins Manufacturing. They made one model back then and it was called the Hot Spring model A, later to be called the "Classic". The Classic series was such a worldwide success that we still carry the Classic Jetsetter and the Classic Sovereign ! Word quickly spread of its durability and, most importantly, it's economical operation. People just couldn't believe that a vessel sitting outside their home could keep over 300 gallons of water at 102 degrees and do it so cheaply! The spa became such a hot item that Steve eventually gave up building his own and took on the new "Hot Spring Line" that slowly grew to new, innovative and larger models. Thus began the wonderful relationship between Spa Broker and Hot Spring Spas that has endured these many years. Now we're Chico's premier outlet for spas and hot tubs from Hot Spring Spas,, and Solana Spas. In 1987 Ann and Steve took on some old friends as partners, Helen and Bill Bradley, and their son David Bradley joined the team just a year later. After many enjoyable years and thousands of hot tubs sold in the Chico and Butte County areas, the two couples decided it was time to retire and the business was taken over by David and his wife Bonnie in 2006. Spa Broker is, and always has been, proud to carry the now many Watkins lines that offer so many choices for so many tastes, as well as so many needs.
