When Southside Mike's BBQ began in Eureka, CA, I was selling my BBQ sauce in local stores. Next I designed my BBQ pits, brought my food to local events, and won a few competitions. In 2016, I set up Southside Mike's BBQ food truck. Now, I do what I love every day!

I am Big Mike from the Southside of Chicago. I'm bringin' it to Humboldt! Not forgetting my Louisiana / Chicago roots and incorporating my California experience. Be sure to try our: BBQ Baby Back Ribs Tri Tip Pulled Pork Battered Fried Chicken Smoked Mac-n-cheese Apple Slaw All food made fresh. Served with award winning Southside Mike's BBQ Sauce. We have a rotating menu, so something great is always going on!
