Southland Care Center

Based in Norwalk, Calif., Southland comprises assisted living, skilled nursing facility and a kindergarten school. Its continuum of care provides services to residents with physical and mental problems. The center offers a variety of nursing services, including intravenous therapy, wound care, enteral feeding and restorative nursing programs, individualized care plans and hospice care services. It also offers specialized programs for individual needs of each resident, such as therapeutic diets, social services, discharge planning, and housekeeping services. The center provides various other activities that include exercise programs, social and recreational activities, arts and crafts, shopping trips and other excursions. Its in-house rehabilitation therapy team offers care for postsurgery residents and with serious illnesses. In addition, Southland offer religious services for the residents.
