Southern Humboldt Community Park features multi-use trails for strolling, hiking, nature viewing, bird watching, bicycling and horse-back riding. Located in Garberville, Calif., the park offers access to several recreational opportunities, including swimming, canoeing, disc golf, picnic area and a meditation labyrinth along with a riverside playground. Great park. Huge acres of open space, great barn for music and evens, trail system winds across the mostly flat space. Right on the Eel River. Great picnic, bike, or dog walk spot.
