Southern California Regional Occupational Center

The Southern California Regional Occupational Center, located in Torrance, Calif., is fully accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges. Its courses are approved by the California State Department of Education. It offers career programs in a variety of fields, including agriculture, arts and media, business, consumer and family services, health sciences and industry and technology. Its various subjects include event planning, floral design, horticulture, landscape design, animal care occupations, veterinary assistance, broadcast journalism, digital animation, digital graphics and publishing, fashion design, graphic design digital prepress and silkscreen and production art. The occupational center also offers various other courses that include business office occupations, computer accounting, desktop publishing, hotel and restaurant occupations, cosmetology, health science and medical technology, dental radiology, engineering, technology and industrial trades. The Southern California Regional Occupational Center also provides career counseling, career assessment and assistance with job search.
