The Southern California Public Power Authority (SCPPA) is a Joint Powers Authority established in 1980 to facilitate the joint planning, financing, construction, and operation of transmission and generation projects. Comprised of eleven municipal utilities and one irrigation district, SCPPA serves over 5 million Californians across a service area of 9,000 square miles, supplying 16% of California's power.

SCPPA enhances operational efficiencies and cost savings for its members through collaborative procurement and financing of projects, as well as providing value-added services and advocacy.
