The Southern California Library provides library and related services to the clients and is located in Los Angeles, Calif. The Library holds collections that span the breadth of social and political movements in Los Angeles from labor, civil rights, education, and housing, to immigration, war and peace, and civil liberties. The collection it provides includes over 400 manuscript collections, as well as books, periodicals, subject files, pamphlets, posters, photographs, films, audiotapes and more. The Library is a Cooperating Collection of the Foundation Center and is able to provide free access to grantmaker directories, books on fundraising and nonprofit management, and the Foundation Center's electronic databases.
