South Tahoe Middle School serves the educational needs of students in grades six through eight. The school has an enrollment of more than 1,000 students. Its curriculum comprises subjects that include language arts, science, English, math, social studies and physical education. It also offers elective courses in home economics, Spanish, geometric art, literature and reading, social action video, digital drama and video production. The school provides several extracurricular activities, such as symphonic band, wind ensemble, orchestra, concert band, yearbook, speech and debate, and cultures and crafts. It has athletic teams in basketball, cross country running, basketball, volleyball, skiing, wrestling and track and field. South Tahoe Middle School is a part of the Lake Tahoe Unified School District and is located in South Lake Tahoe, Calif.

Curriculum was weak, teachers try, but classrooms are large and kids are out of control, and disrupt learning constantly. Bullying is a huge issue at this school. I had to pull my son out and...
