South Shores Elementary School serves students in grades one through five. It provides opportunities to perform in drama, dance, orchestral and choral music productions. The school additionally conducts classes in painting, drawing, graphics and photography, as well as modern, tap, ballet and ethnic dances. South Shores Elementary School organizes science nights, field trips, book fairs, talent shows, choral programs, family night activities and student-recognition functions. It has a parent-teacher organization that sponsors several fundraising events. The school s facilities include a computer laboratory, playground, on-site cafeteria and classrooms. In addition, South Shores Elementary School supports a yearbook club and provides transportation service to students. It is located in Los Angeles and is a part of the Los Angeles Unified School District.
