Love this place! Active since 1871. Wish they had T-shirts for sale with building and logo. Also maybe little jars of table salt with their logo saying made in San Diego since 1871 on the label

Good price for 50 lbs of salt, but it said on the bag large crystals, in my opinion the next size down would be in a salt shaker. Dennis Kay joandennis2@verizon.net

This was one of the most beautiful place to visit in Chula Vista. It was very exciting to drive by and see all of the piles of salt they have at their place.

This place is unique in the San Diego area, but it is just a quick stop to look at the salt mountains and snap a few pictures. Since it is a private property, you cannot go inside. Just a place to...
