Sonoma from Scratch was inspired when Chef Samantha moved to the little town of Sonoma in 2015. Having 5 years of experience in the Napa/Sonoma wine industry, she was ready to take a break from wine and focus on the food. Sonoma was a heavenly Mecca for the most fresh, delicious, local fare she had ever seen! Samantha loved having people over and feeding her delicious food to hungry friends. Inspired by their giddy positive comments, she learned her craft and rose in the ranks by working at multiple local catering companies, restaurants and wineries. Now with seven years experience as a local private chef in wine country, she specializes in cooking for guests that are renting vacation homes in Sonoma and Napa. Sonoma from Scratch is a preferred chef for Turnkey Rentals, Silverado Resort Napa, Napa Native Wine Tours and Sierra Wine tours.
