Based in Petaluma, Calif., Sonoma County Wildlife Rescue is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation and release of sick, injured and orphaned wildlife. It conducts the Educational Outreach Program to promote awareness and appreciation of wildlife amongst the citizens of Sonoma County. The organization also provides the Wildlife Exclusion Service, aimed to carry out humane evictions of nuisance wildlife living in proximity to humans. Sonoma County Wildlife Rescue specializes in handling opossums, raccoons, skunks and bats, along with conducting custom exclusions, animal dropping clean ups and removal of dead animals.
