History

At age 10, Dave Christensen had the good fortune to be involved in a program that taught college level theory in a way that was accessible to students at a young age. Through this program, Dave was able to become a proficient musician and have a mature grasp on music theory throughout his whole career, which has allowed him to work along some of the best minds in the music business.

Song Squared specializes in engaging students by starting them off learning the music that excites them, leading to more time spent at the piano, enjoying music instead of simply practicing it. - Song Squared is able to provide ANY song at ANY skill level to ensure our students are gaining confidence by making progress each week. - Easily accessible theory lessons assure that students are understanding music as well as playing it. - Lessons on piano, guitar and bass are available. - Frequent opportunities to perform are provided for our students. - Students are encouraged to create their own music, guided by our approachable curriculum. - Because the lessons are held in a functioning recording studio, students have the chance to record their performances and share them with the world. - Music technology classes are also available.
