History
Chris, the owner has been producing wine since 1999 and has sold to many of the top restaurants in Southern California. His dream was to open a new facility to pair his wines with delicious cuisine.
Specialties
Full production winery located 2 blocks from the beach. Solterra sources grapes from premier regions in northern/central California, Valle de Guadalupe, and local vineyards. We also feature a full kitchen that has Mediterranean style tapas that pair with the types of wine that we produce. We also feature happy hour daily from 3:00PM- 5:30 PM and all day/night Monday! San Diego Magazine recently rated us their Critic's Pick- the top wine bar in San Diego! We also have a bocce ball court and demonstration vineyard so there are many areas to host your next party or event!
