Since its beginning in early 2000 the program has successfully implemented into its program a number of activities with special techniques to achieve moderate to large weight loss in over 70% of the attending adults. Our success has supported our continuing growth which enables us to upgrade existing components while adding new improved ones.

Solid Foundation is currently one of the only weight management and fitness day programs licensed by the state of California, dedicated to working with developmentally disabled adults. Our program isn't just about losing weight , but also about teaching skills relating to a healthy lifestyle.
