History
Solar Projects Unlimited began as a supplemental installation business to Solar Racks, a custom rack fabrication operation. Due to the shifting market demand of solar racking systems, Solar Racks closed in 2014 and Solar Projects was up significantly. Despite this, custom racks are still available for purchase, and we still produce most of the rack materials for our own installations, including our foot standoffs.

Solar Projects performs high quality solar electric and solar thermal system installations, both residential and commercial, grid-tied and off-grid. We also supply custom solar racking systems with equipment that is manufactured here in our Arcata warehouse from weatherproof materials, such as aluminum and stainless steel. Our contractors offer a wealth of information about your system's functionality, and are responsive to any questions or concerns before, during, and after the installation. Solar Projects will also conduct the permitting process with the appropriate agency, as well as complete the interconnection paperwork with the utility after installation completion.
