History

Sharon Glickman is the owner and head teacher of Sociabilities. She has a Masters in Special Education, with over thirty years experience in the field, working with special needs children.

Specialties

Early Intervention Classes Ages 3-5 Facilitated small groups led by Sharon and trained assistants to help children work through pre school age difficulties. Children are taught how to play with toys, how to be kind to friends, and how to communicate with adults and children in their environment. We work at building self confidence and independent skills so that each child can enjoy childhood. Parent involvement is encouraged. Kindergarten Readiness We work on the skills needed to be successful when entering Kindergarten. The class will cover alphabet writing and reciting, number id, making patterns, social skills, when to raise your hand, art, reading books and music. Fine motor skills will be practiced weekly.
