May 1st 2019, a creature emerges from the waters near the Richmond bridge : Smogzilla ! In his crusade to protect the environment, this friendly monster comes to help the residents of the East Bay to preserve their clean air and pass their smog. Smogzilla resides at the corner of Barrett and San Pablo avenue, at San Pablo ave. exit on I80. This green monster is determined to make your smog inspections as simple and smooth as possible. Smogzilla is on your side.

Smogzilla is a new type of California Official Test-Only Smog Station. We are dedicated to making your smog experience as simple and smooth as possible. Smogs shouldn't be a hassle. We smog any gas vehicle, as diesels or hybrids. Our test machines are state of the art, our facility clean and green. But mostly, Customer service and honesty are our credo. Test results are sent electronically to the DMV for you. Our courteous technicians are ready to help you anytime; they will explain the results of the tests to you when a corrective action is required. If your vehicle is not able to pass the first time, we offer 1 free retest within 30 days, to give you the opportunity to repair with no extra smog cost. We also propose to our smog customers a free tire pressure service. Enjoy a drink while you relax in our clean waiting-room, and we take care of the rest, this green monster is on your side !
