Smith Vineyard, located in Grass Valley, California, has announced their retirement and the closure of their Winery and Tasting Room after 31 years of operation. Despite the difficult decision, the owners express gratitude for the support of their valued customers and the numerous accolades received for their wines, including Double Gold, Best of Region, and Best of State. While the Winery and Tasting Room will be closing, Smith Vineyard plans to continue farming their vineyard and supplying certified organically grown fruit to other winemakers, as well as staying involved in the local community.
