Founded in 1983, the organization is licensed by the state of California and Hague accreditation. It is affiliated with the California Association of Adoption Agencies (CAAA), North American Council on Adoptable Children (NACAC), National Foster Parent Association (NFPA), National Association of Christian Social Workers (NACSW) and Joint Council on International Children's Services (JCICS).
