Our mission is to manage and improve the overall health outcomes of sexually active adults in the LGBTQ and surrounding communities. We take a whole person approach to patient care, and provide physical, sexual, and mental health diagnosis, treatment, and management.

Smart Health LA is a department of healthcare professionals at Valley Community Healthcare in North Hollywood offering mental, physical and sexual health support and guidance to the LGBT and surrounding communities with the goal of improving overall health outcomes. We currently provide HIV testing and prevention education/training; community outreach; HIV/AIDS care and treatment; STD care and treatment linkage through FPACT; referrals and linked referrals to housing, food banks, mental and behavioral health professionals and support groups, educational dinner presentations and diversity comprehension. In addition to full HIV/AIDS testing, education, outreach and HIV/AIDS medical care and treatment, Valley Community Healthcare offers a wide array of free and low-cost general medical care programs and health services to the low-income and uninsured men, women, and children of the San Fernando Valley and beyond.
