Slice of New York on Golden Lantern Street on the Dana Harbor, is known to have the best pizza in town. Slice of New York's casual atmosphere, checkerboard table clothes and garlic spiked specialty pizza, the white pie topped with garlic sauce, spinach, mozzarella and ricotta make it a real Dana Point hot spot.
New Yorkers believe it's the water that makes their pizza crusts so delicious, but at the Slice they think it is the harbor water that makes their pizza the best.
On the lighter side, try Slice of New York's Caesar salad with shaved parmesan. Delicious and inexpensive, Slice of New York is a little slice of New York on the harbor.

Caveat: The food is delicious and worthy of take out. I'm not dragging on the food, but the service is a whole different story I'm going to start by saying the waiter was very nice and helpful....
