Skiptown Playhouse

History

Skiptown Playhouse was started in 2018 By Vincenzo Carubia, Anny Taormina, and Michelle Parks. Already having formed his film production company, Skiptown Productions in 2014, Vincenzo discovered the space was available and formed a theater branch (Skiptown Playhouse) with partners Anny and Michelle as a result. In these two years they have grown tremendously in the areas of Comedy, Stand-up, Improv, as well as Film Screenings and Film shoots for local independent filmmakers. Located across from LACC, this is a prime venue space for independent artists and filmmakers alike and offers a great sound system, fun colorful lights, and a warm intimate ambiance at night.

Specialties

An intimate small theater. 36 red velvet seats with operatable curtain. A beautiful blend of warm Tungsten lights and various color changing LEDS. From Film Screenings, to table reads, comedy, improv, sketch, one man shows, music videos or other film production needs, Skiptown Playhouse is the venue for you.
