History

Skin Essentials is a second career for me. I took an early retirement package from the phone company back in 2000 and decided the corporate life was behind me. I started my business in late 2001 and never looked back. My 26 years in corporate life combined with my 50 + years of life experience has led me to where I am to today, enjoying my clients and my life!

Specialties

Specialties I offer complete skin care including cleansing facials for all skin types. In addition to a classic facial, I also offer peels that will leave your skin feeling more refined and hydrated. Along with great skin care, I offer head to toe waxing, specializing in the brazilian wax for both female and male clients. I use only the best in french hard wax which minimizes the discomfort normally felt with waxing. I am also a Reiki practioner. Reiki (pronounced ray-key) is an ancient healing art. It can provide deep relaxation and stress reduction through the energy centers in our body. When we are deeply relaxed, our body has the ability to heal itself on many levels: emotional, mental, physical, and spiritual. Clients usually report feeling deep relaxation after a Reiki session. Warmth, tingling, sleepiness, refreshment and the easing of symptoms are also common responses to treatment.
