I opened Skin Deep Beauty Products & Salon Spa Treatments in the San Roque Plaza on upper State Street 30 years ago with my two sisters and our mother. We have watched many young girls in our community grow up to become career women, wives, and mothers and we feel so honored to be a part of their lives when they come to our store for their favorite beauty products, salon spa treatments, gifts and jewelry or just simply to take some time out from their daily busy lives and relax. It is even more fun when they take time out and come to the salon together as a group... it then becomes the big girls time out to have fun. I think we all need to do that from time to time. Take time out for ourselves and take time out with our friends. It is an incredible way to re-charge. Generations of employees, customers and salon clients have interconnected along the path of this 30 year journey. We feel, as do our customers, that this is an interesting story about a little business started by a family of women serving women... and all those significant men in their lives searching for a last minute Gift Certificate! We are proud to be a part of the Santa Barbara community. A customer recently said as she walked in the door with some friends: Ahhh it's nice to see that some things are still as good as you remember them... and indeed, our goal is to keep providing the level of service everyone remembers us for. Yes, we continually look for the latest and greatest advancements in skin care products, but we are also committed to providing the best service in the tri-counties area and the central coast.
