The Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Center is a 100% volunteer-run, non-profit, dedicated to disseminating the pure, classical teachings of yogic lifestyle for health and peace of mind in Los Angeles for over 45 years. Housed in a grand mansion in a historic neighborhood—the only yoga retreat in the city—it is strikingly peaceful. Our daily practice consists of mediation, chanting, yoga, study and vegetarian meals. We offer classes, courses, workshops, trainings and weekend programs. Topics range from Vedanta to cooking workshops to cultural events to Yantra painting. Yoga vacations are always available with a 3-night minimum. Ayurvedic treatments and consultations are available by appointment, as are Yoga Therapy sessions. A little piece of heaven right here in the city—you won't want to leave.
