Robert Stoll, the founder and owner of Community Glass And Mirror Co., was first introduced and trained by glass industry tradesmen back in Long Island, New York at a very young age. A friend of Roberts father owned a local glass company and needed someone to answer the phones on Saturdays. Roberts father thought his 11 year-old son could handle the task at hand. Next thing you know, Robert was beginning his journey into the glass trade. When he finally got his drivers license, Robert began working with other glass companies until he graduated from high school and entered the military for four years. In 1972, Robert opened Community Glass and Mirror Co. in New York. He sold his East Coast enterprise to move across country in 1987 to Escondido, California, where he opened his West Coast glass business under the same name. Today, Robert has 4 trucks and 4 employees ready to service clients that span not only Escondido and San Diego County, but also all of Southern California. Roberts mission is to offer quality craftsmanship and expert glass services to both residential and commercial clients. His dedication and that of his staff has helped him to build and earn a trusted reputation with homeowners, businesses and contractors alike for over 40 years.
