History

Lee Waterman founded Silver Moon Big Band in 1997. Since that time the orchestra has performed for hundreds of events including numerous society weddings, awards banquets, and black-tie fundraisers. The musicians in this all star orchestra have appeared with such notables as: Ray Charles, Paul Anka, Tito Puente, Madonna, Stephen Stills, Tom Scott, Kenny G, Michael Bolton, Steve Allen, the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, Art Garfunkle, Linda Ronstadt, Rickie Lee Jones, Maynard Ferguson, The Tubes, Al Martino, Del Shannon, The Drifters, and many others. SILVER MOON has also performed at many of the Bay Area's most prestigious events including the San Francisco Symphony Gala at Davies Hall, the de Young Museum's
