Sigrid K. Burruss, MD

Dr. Doris Z. Deng is a board-certified UCI Health neurologist who specializes in epilepsy. She earned her medical degree from the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine in Tampa. She completed a residency in neurology at University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, followed by a fellowship in epilepsy at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore.

Dr. Kurt Qing is a board-certified UCI Health neurologist who specializes in epilepsy. Qing earned his medical degree at Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis. He completed a residency in neurology at New York Presbyterian Hospital, followed by a fellowship in epilepsy at the Stanford University Comprehensive Epilepsy Program. He also completed a PhD in neuroengineering at Purdue University in West Lafayette, Ind., where he focused on electrical stimulation and recording in animal models.

Dr. Kelly M. Fairbairn is a board-certified UCI Health thoracic surgeon. She earned her medical degree from Touro University California College of Osteopathic Medicine in Vallejo, Calif. She completed a residency in general surgery at Community Memorial Hospital in Ventura, Calif., followed by a fellowship in cardiothoracic surgery at the University of Arizona College of Medicine in Tucson. Next, she completed a fellowship in advanced thoracic surgical oncology at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York.
