Sierra Madre Pioneer Cemetery, located in the picturesque town of Sierra Madre, California, spans over 2.19 acres of land surrounded by coastal live oaks and Engleman oaks. Established in 1881 by Nathaniel Carter, the founder of the city, this historic cemetery is the final resting place for many of Sierra Madre's original founding families and veterans from the Civil War to Vietnam.
