Shyun Jeng MD

John Chan, MD, practices internal medicine. Dr. Chan earned his medical degree from the University of Illinois College of Medicine in Chicago. He completed his internship and residency at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. Dr. Chan became a doctor because he is fascinated by how the human body works and is dedicated to helping people. He believes strongly in patient education and makes sure to take time and answer all of his patients' questions to keep them actively engaged in their healthcare decision-making. Patients describe him as very patient and a good listener. In his spare tim e, Dr. Chan enjoys basketball and spending time with his family and friends. In addition to English, Dr. Chan has a basic understanding of Cantonese.
