The Shorenstein Company is a privately owned national real estate corporation active in the ownership and operation of high-rise office properties. It provides asset management, leasing, property management and construction services to the properties in its portfolio through its wholly owned property services affiliate, Shorenstein Realty Services. Shorenstein sponsors closed investment funds and has acquired and developed through these funds more than 16 million square feet of gross acquisition and development cost in excess of $3 billion. Its fund investments have included everything from ground-up development to asset repositioning to stabilized assets. The company s properties include the John Hancock Center in Chicago, Two Liberty Place in Philadelphia, Oakland City Center in Oakland, Calif. and Hamilton Square in Washington D.C. Established in 1992, Shorenstein has headquarters in San Francisco, Calif.
