Shelter From the Storm

Based in Palm Desert, Calif., Shelter From The Storm is a victim assistance organization. The organization prevents violence, as well as promotes justice for victims of crime and abuse, their families and communities. It is a shelter-based provider of emergency and adjunctive services to victims of domestic violence. Shelter From The Storm has a 72-bed emergency shelter with two onsite schools, medical clinic and outreach crisis intervention centers. Additionally, the organization offers individual and group counseling for women, children and parenting group.
