History
Dr Peter Morse built the original Silverado Veterinary Hospital and opened in 1978. Dr Paul Hess joined him in 1982, became a partner in 1987, and is now sole owner after Dr Morse's retirement in 2006. Our associate vets include Dr Mara Bleviss, Dr Julia Campbell, Dr Shelley Flowers, Dr Katy Wilson, Dr Dana MacMillan (Rea) and Dr Juliana Rockwood (a Colorado grad but native Napan, is our only non-UCD veterinarian) We finished a major remodel in August 2009, nearly doubling our usable floor space. The new facility is being enjoyed nearly as much by our clients and patients as we are!

We were on a road trip when our sweet girl Maz cut her puppy pad severely. Dr. Flowers and her team took us in upon our call and stayed after hours to ensure our dog received the care she needed....

Dr Flowers was wonderful with my mother in law who had to put her dog down due to cancerous tumors. She was thoughtful, caring, and I am grateful for her tenderness in such a sad time in her life.

Dr. Flowers is wonderful. She helped my very sick kitty when she had to stay at Silverado Vet in an incubator. Don't trust the review from the person with 11 cats, they quite obviously don't know...
