A Southern Californian native, Dr. Kaye is thrilled to return home to serve his community as an internal medicine physician. His choice to pursue medicine was inspired by watching his mom undergo and beat a serious medical condition when he was young. This left a lasting impression on him as he realized the critical role he could play as a physician.Dr. Kaye chose internal medicine as he enjoys connecting with people and helping them solve their simple and complex problems. He appreciates the wide breadth of patients he treats and takes the time to create a relationship of trust with each of his patients.He focuses on providing an individualized approach to patient care. As Dr. Kaye states it best, “I believe it is important to partner with my patients and understand their specific situation in order to provide the best care possible. Through this collaboration, we can build a plan together.”Dr. Kaye is board certified and received his medical degree from University of California, Irvine where he was elected into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society and completed his residency at Stanford University. With a focus on preventive medicine, he is currently accepting new patients and welcomes adults age 18 and older.Outside of work, Dr. Kaye enjoys playing guitar, surfing, swimming, hiking, cooking, and spending time with his family.

Prior to joining Hoag Medical Group, Dr. Nadeau served as an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Tufts Medical School and Medical Director of Diabetes, Endocrinology and Nutrition at Exeter Hospital in New Hampshire and Eastern Maine Medical Center in Maine. Passionate about his work and helping his patients achieve their goals, Dr. Nadeau brings his comprehensive knowledge, patient-centric approach for diabetes and thyroid conditions, and cheery disposition to Hoag Medical Group. Dr. Nadeau traveled around the world with a backpack after college. He runs, bikes, and lift weights to help balance the calories from cooking and eating, which he enjoys even more than exercise.

Catherine B. Ngo, MD

Catherine Ngo, M.D. has a comprehensive background in general gastroenterology with specific interests in gastrointestinal motility and disorders of the gut-brain interaction. Dr. Ngo offers individualized patient care and works with her patients to optimize their health and wellness. She is board certified and fellowship trained in gastroenterology and hepatology, as well as skilled in endoscopic techniques and diagnostic interpretations of various motility studies. As Director of Motility for the Hoag Digestive Health Institute, providing innovation and personalized technology that improve diagnostic and prognostic capabilities in the realm of motility and functional disorders remain her priority. Dr. Ngo attended UCLA where she earned a Bachelor of Science in biology. She then attended Wake Forest University School of Medicine where she received an NIH fellowship grant in translational research. She completed her internal medicine residency and gastroenterology fellowship training at UC Davis. While there, she presented in a broad range of research areas including the utility of diagnostic testing to predict patient disease progression and outcomes in inflammatory bowel disease, optimization of colonoscopy water technique to improve exam quality and patient experience, and evaluation of the efficacy of a training program for endoscopy assistants to improve physician procedural success and patient satisfaction. Dr. Ngo is an active member of the Orange County community. She has led the creation of a motility referral program, been an associate medical director for outpatient ambulatory GI services, served as hospital liaison for inpatient GI services, and acted as medical director for an outpatient endoscopy center. She looks forward to using all her experiences to create a better and brighter future for her south county community.
