Shasta County Resource Management

The Shasta County Department of Resource Management has been operational since 1992. The department operates several divisions, including building planning, environmental health and community education. It offers plan reviewing and inspection services for structural, electrical, plumbing, as well as miscellaneous items, including signs, fences and mobile homes. The Shasta County Department of Resource Management s building division serves as the code enforcement arm of and provides follow-up on complaints related to zoning and building code violations. Its air quality management district through a staff of trained and certified control officers and district managers, offers public health protection services. The department is located in Redding, Calif.
