History

Shape Health Fitness was first started in Elk Grove in 1999 by fitness specialist Vernia Smith. After changing the lives of his clients he opened a new and improved location in East Sacramento.

At Shape Health and Fitness we have over 25 years of experience in helping clients with losing weight, competitive level athletic training, and obtaining a variety of fitness goals. We offer personal training plans (including online), meal plans, and supplement plans. Some of our programs include after baby abs and hourglass for women, V power system for men, and specialized programs for teens. Shape Health & Fitness uses a unique approach called the tri-point system to help clients with their weight loss goals. This system was created by Shape Health and Fitness owner Vernia Smith, a licensed nutritionist with a M.S. in Kinesiology. This particular weight loss program, available online or in person at our Sacramento location, uses a combination of exercise made for your body type, a delicious meal plan that keeps you full, and a customized supplement plan that gives you an edge for your weight loss goals.
