Senior Care Advocacy started in 2010 due to the increased demand from assisted living homes, board & care homes, skilled nursing homes, and placement assistance services to help Veterans get through the intimidating process of getting their benefits. When Senior Care Advocacy was established in 2010, the VA was taking almost one year on average to approve an Aid & Attendance program application.
