Secret Garden

History

The Secret Garden Preschool is a state licensed preschool established in September of 1977, by La Selva Beach resident, Sylvia Gerbl. Olesya Kalinowska purchased the school in July 2020. She and her talented staff are dedicated to maintaining the high standards and excellent curriculum The Secret Garden is known for. Many of the children attending have parents who attended The Secret Garden when they were preschoolers.

For over forty years children have enjoyed attending The Secret Garden Preschool in beautiful La Selva Beach, California. We strive to maintain the standard of excellence established by our founder and maintain a program dedicated to the preparation of children for future academic and social success. Conveniently located just off Highway 1 in Santa Cruz County, we offer preschool programs for children aged 2 to 5 years old and after kindergarten care for Rio del Mar Elementary and Valencia Elementary schools. We are in close proximity to Aptos, Capitola, Soquel, Santa Cruz, and Watsonville. We are open Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. until 5:30 p.m.
