Second Harvest Food Bank Santa Cruz County is dedicated to inspiring and supporting the local community by providing nourishment to all residents. Each year, the organization sources over 10 million pounds of food, with a commitment to ensuring that 50% of their distribution is fresh produce, reaching approximately 70,000 individuals monthly.

The food bank operates through a network of over 100 partner agencies, including food pantries and soup kitchens, to assist those in need, such as children, seniors, veterans, and the working poor. With the capability to provide three meals for every dollar donated, Second Harvest relies on strong relationships with farmers, retailers, and volunteers to fulfill its mission of alleviating food insecurity in Santa Cruz County.
