Schumacher Ceramics, established in 1985 by Bob Schumacher, specializes in handmade architectural ceramics, including sinks, tile murals, and various home decor items. In 1995, Bob's partner Sonya Schumacher joined him, expanding the business to include a gallery that showcased their artistic pottery and regional artists until its closure in 2018.
Bob Schumacher holds a B.A. from Hayward State and an M.F.A. in Ceramics from Indiana University, while Sonya Schumacher has a B.A. in Studio Art with a concentration in ceramics from Humboldt State University. Both are active educators in their respective communities, sharing their expertise and passion for ceramics with students.

Beautiful, unique ceramics. And Mr Schumacher is an honest gentleman. Very glad to have stopped in, and even happier with my purchases! Lots of interesting pieces, and many are very affordable.
