Scan Health Plan

Founded in 1977, SCAN Health Plan is the fourth largest nonprofit Medicare Advantage health plan in the United States. Located in Long Beach, Calif., SCAN Health Plan is a Medicare advantage organization with a Medicare contract. Additionally, the firm contracts with the California Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) for Medicare/Medi-Cal eligible beneficiaries. It serves the needs of more than 128,000 members in Kern, Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino San Diego and Ventura counties.
