History

Our founders, Sam A. and Frances Ridino formed SAR Enterprises in 1972 in Glendale, California to manage their private portfolio of residential and commercial real estate. In 1979, the Ridinos relocated to Santa Cruz County but maintained ownership of their Southern California properties. In 1983, their son Robert joined the firm and today serves as President and CEO, directing SAR's core management team from their office in Aptos. Over the last 30 years, SAR Enterprises has grown from a family firm managing a single portfolio to a full-service real estate investment, acquisition, and development company specializing in commercial and residential assets across the country. Five Decades of Experience In SAR's 30+ year history, the firm's portfolio record includes the acquisition, development, and sale of over $300 million in holdings.
