Santa Monica Conservancy - Downtown Walking Tours

A Walk Through History A short walk through the heart of downtown Santa Monica reveals more than 130 years of fascinating history,tracing the city's transformation from a Wild West frontier town to the urban ,internationally known beach community of today. The two hour tour offers insights into the history, architecture and culture that gives Santa Monica's unique identity. Tours are held every Saturday at 10 am, and docents will arrive approximately 15 minutes beforehand to check in guests. Meet at 1436 Second St. The cost is $10 for the public and $5 for Santa Monica Conservancy, LA Conservancy, and Santa Monica City employees.
