Santa Clarita Planning/Zoning

The Planning Division is a part of the Community Development Department, which is governed by the City of Santa Clarita in California. The division is responsible for the implementation of the city's general plan. It also reviews land use proposals and provides environmental assessment and mitigation services. The Planning Division is responsible for the preparation of policies, ordinances and resolutions. The division additionally oversees the annexation of unincorporated areas within the city. It administers the city's Mobile Home Rent Stabilization Ordinance. The Planning Division oversees the implementation of the signage task force program. The division coordinates with jurisdictions and agencies on local and regional planning issues.
