The Santa Catalina Branch Library, one of the oldest branches in Pasadena's public library system, has been serving the community since 1913, with its current building opening in 1931. It offers a diverse collection of approximately 49,000 items, including special collections in Armenian and Spanish, as well as resources for children and adults alike.
In addition to its extensive collection, the library hosts a variety of programs, including a monthly book group for adults and weekly storytime sessions for children. The Santa Catalina Branch is also committed to sustainability, providing a drop-off box for the safe recycling of household batteries and CFL bulbs.
