Although the SAPL is temporarily closed and will reopen in 2026 when renovations are completed, when open it is one of the best libraries in Orange County, and is independent of the county library...

I've never seen so much security compared to the huge public library in downtown Los Angeles. Despite the security the library is very spacious inside, clean, quiet, and well organized.
