Dr. Malcolm John, MD, MPH is the director of the UCSF HIV AIDS Program, a leading treatment program for HIV and AIDS in the United States. With expertise in infectious diseases, Dr. John specializes in the care of patients with AIDS and HIV, particularly among African Americans. He is also involved in research on diseases associated with the human papillomavirus (HPV) in HIV-infected patients. Dr. John received his medical degree from Harvard University and a master's degree in public health from the University of California, Berkeley.
