Dr. Shefrin has been practicing Neurology in the Bay Area for over 25 years. She has been in Marin County since 2005. She sees the full range of neurological conditions, and is an Expert in Parkinson's Disease and Dementia. Dr. Shefrin spends a lot of time with her patients, and provides thorough and thoughtful evaluations. She allows time for patients to ask questions and works with them to arrive at solutions to their problems. Patients are welcome to see her for a second opinion.

If you have MS, avoid at all costs. She has either missed or ignored information on my MRIs and not advised me properly about using DMTs. Consequently, I haven't been on the correct medication...

At first I was impressed that Dr. Shefrin took notes in our initial session. She also spent an hour with me. She finished by saying "it's a lot to digest" and we scheduled a follow up....
