Andrew B. Sharabi, MD, PhD is a board-certified radiation oncologist and assistant professor of Radiation Medicine and Applied Sciences at UC San Diego Health. With a focus on prostate cancer, head and neck cancer, skin cancers, and thoracic malignancies, Dr. Sharabi's clinical research interests lie in understanding the effects of radiation on the immune system and developing strategies for combining radiation and immunotherapy in cancer treatment. Dr. Sharabi's research findings have been published in prestigious journals such as The Lancet Oncology, and he has served on the clinical trials planning committee panels of the National Cancer Institute.
